K-Beauty New Product Radar: Week of July 6, 2026
Summary
This week our internal product catalog logged 45,039 new beauty-category rows from Naver Shopping — items we recorded for the first time between July 7 and July 8, 2026, out of 49,567 new catalog rows across all categories in the trailing seven days (July 2–9, 2026). "New" here means newly observed and logged in our catalog, not newly launched by a brand; a listing can be added to our catalog long after the underlying product first went on sale elsewhere. 17,380 of the beauty rows (38.6%) came in already linked to a brand we track, spanning 1,455 distinct brands — including all 55 of the marquee brands we currently flag as "featured." This report draws a brand-linked, category-diversified sample from that pool.
Table 1 — Beauty-category rows by subcategory (7-day window)

| Base makeup | 4,670 |
| Masks & patches | 4,610 |
| Body care | 4,416 |

Table 2 — Top 10 brands by new-row count (brand-linked rows only)
| Brand | New rows |
|---|---|
| OHUI | 350 |
| AHC | 318 |
| 더후 | 270 |
| 바세린 | 225 |
| HERA | 221 |
| 와이즐리 | 217 |
| 입생로랑 | 179 |
| The Face Shop | 169 |
| Dr.G | 160 |
| 인셀덤 | 132 |
These counts describe catalog-logging volume, not sales or popularity — a brand with many new rows in a given week may simply have many sellers re-listing the same items across marketplaces, rather than a wave of new formulas.
Notable New Listings This Week
From the 17,380 brand-linked beauty rows, we picked 12 that are connected to a recognized brand and spread across nine different subcategories, aiming for a representative cross-section rather than a cluster in one category. All 12 were logged on July 7, 2026.

What We Observed
- Beauty of Joseon and Round Lab each appear twice, in different subcategories (serum and sun stick for Beauty of Joseon; ampoule and shaving foam for Round Lab) — both brands had rows freshly logged across more than one product line on the same day.
- Two of the 12 listings (numbuzin's retinol ampoule and TONYMOLY's soothing gel) record a bundle quantity ("3개") rather than a single unit at the observed price. We report the price exactly as listed, without converting to a per-unit figure, since no separate per-unit price was recorded.
- The HERA Black Cushion row is a refill-only SKU — the listing text specifies "리필" (refill) with no case included — a common secondary listing type alongside a brand's main compact.
- None of the 12 rows had a review count above zero or a populated ingredient list at the time we logged them. That is expected for a row captured on the day it entered our catalog, before any enrichment pass has run on it.
- Every one of the 55 brands we currently flag as "featured" had at least one new row this week, so brand recognition was not the limiting factor in building this list — the harder constraint was finding rows with a clean, single-product name rather than a multi-item bundle or gift set.
Methodology
This report comes from our own internal product catalog, which we build through a daily scan of Naver Shopping listings across K-beauty search categories; we do not independently confirm brand-announced launch dates, so "new" throughout this report means newly logged in our catalog, not newly released by the brand.
A listing can enter our system long after the product first went on sale, and the same physical product can be logged more than once if different sellers list it separately. The 7-day window covers July 2–9, 2026; within it, the great majority of beauty-category rows (45,039 of 49,567 total new rows across all categories) were recorded across two scan days, July 7 and July 8 — a reflection of the pace of our own cataloging that week, not a claim about how many products actually went on sale.
Category and brand counts in Tables 1–2 are drawn from every beauty-category row logged in the window; the 12 listings in Table 3 are a hand-picked, brand-linked subset chosen for category spread, not a ranked "best of" or a claim about sales performance.
Prices are the seller-listed price recorded at the moment we logged the row — not re-verified against the seller's current listing, and not adjusted for shipping, bundle quantity, or coupons.
FAQ
Q: Does "newly observed" mean these products just launched?
No. It means our catalog logged the listing for the first time in the past seven days — the underlying product may already have been on sale elsewhere before we recorded it. We do not track brand announcement or launch dates, so this report cannot say when any product actually debuted.
Q: Why does skincare show so many more new rows than, say, nail care?
We don't have data that explains the gap directly. It most likely reflects how many separate seller listings our scan's search terms surface within each category, rather than a genuine difference in how many new formulas came to market that week.
Q: Are the prices in this report what a shopper would pay today?
No. Each price is the seller-listed price at the moment we logged the row, with no adjustment for shipping, bundle quantity, coupons, or any price change since. Two of the 12 highlighted listings record a multi-unit quantity rather than a single item, and we show the listed price exactly as recorded.
Q: Will there be a new radar report next week?
That is the intent behind this recurring format, though whether any future edition is published depends on editorial review each week rather than happening automatically.
