About

Why this site exists

The problem we work on

If you don't read Korean, finding good K-beauty information is hard. Korean shopping-mall listings are often image-only, prices and ingredient lists are buried in screenshots, and there are few well-structured English (or Japanese, Chinese) guides that organize Korean products clearly.

We fill that gap. We curate Korean K-beauty products into clear answer-style guides — with prices, comparisons, and honest selection criteria — so global readers can make informed decisions without navigating Korean-only shopping sites.

How we pick products

How our content is made

We are transparent about our process: guides are drafted with AI assistance from structured Korean product data (names, prices, specs, review counts where public), then run through an editorial quality pipeline before publication — banned-claims checks, schema validation, honesty-rule enforcement (no fabricated ratings, prices, or clinical claims), and per-guide QA review. Ingredient and skin-concern pages cite independent sources such as AAD, NHS, and INCI Decoder.

Languages

Articles are written in English first, then adapted for Korean, Japanese, and Chinese readers with localized buying recommendations (e.g., 쿠팡/올리브영 for Korea, YesStyle/Qoo10 for Japan, 淘宝/京东国际 for China).

Editorial source policy

Each entity page (ingredient, skin concern, use case, brand) links to multiple external references with a one-line rationale explaining why that source is a good independent reference. Our citation policy by category:

We explicitly exclude proprietary review databases, user-generated content (Reddit), affiliate retailer landing pages, and SEO-thin blog aggregators. We do not scrape behind-login or paywalled content.

For product rating and review data, we accept opt-in submissions from brands and sellers with explicit display-rights confirmation, and official affiliate or review-platform APIs with documented permission. Editorial review precedes publication. Brands and sellers can contribute via our submission form.

Update cadence

Each entity page shows "Updated YYYY-MM" so shoppers can verify freshness at a glance.
