What we collect

K-Beauty Answers is a static site. We do not require accounts, do not collect personal information directly, and do not sell data to third parties.

For privacy-friendly traffic understanding, we may use:

• Plausible Analytics (or similar privacy-first analytics): aggregated, anonymous page views without tracking cookies or personal identifiers.
• Cloudflare (our hosting provider): standard request logs (IP, user agent) for security and abuse prevention, retained per Cloudflare's policy.

Optional voice and product-photo input

On supported browsers, voice input starts only after you press the voice button. Speech recognition is provided by your browser and may use that browser provider's online speech service under its own privacy terms. K-Beauty Answers does not receive or store the raw audio.

Recognized text remains editable and is not applied until you confirm the search. Confirmed search text is stored in the page URL in your browser so the result can be bookmarked. If you reload or share that URL, its search text may be included in a normal request to our hosting provider, so do not include sensitive health information.

In the current product-photo preview, a selected product package or ingredient-label image stays on your device. It is not uploaded, stored, analyzed, or used for face or skin diagnosis.

Cookies

We do not set tracking cookies. Some features (e.g., language preference) may use local browser storage to remember your selection, but this stays in your browser and isn't sent to us.

Some links on this site (to retailers like YesStyle, StyleKorean, Amazon, Coupang, Olive Young) are affiliate links. If you click and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

Affiliate relationships do not influence our editorial picks. Rankings are based on product category fit, brand reputation, and where available, public rating data — not on commission rates.

External links

We link to Naver Shopping catalog pages and other retailers as references and sources. Their privacy practices are governed by those sites' own policies.

AI search citations

We explicitly welcome ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Claude, and other AI search crawlers to read and cite our content (see our robots.txt for the explicit allow list). When you arrive here from an AI answer, no additional identifiers are passed to us beyond the standard referrer.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site grows. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
